When Freddy's teacher, Mrs. Lapino notices that Freddy has a reading problem, she sends a Book Fairy to talk to his parents to convince them to help him read. Though their initial attempts meet with little success, they try their hardest and teach Freddy to love reading.

After the murder of his wife Alexis is devastated. He withdraws all his savings and embarks on a journey from which he does not think he will return. His meeting with Daphne makes the escape through Tartary even crazier.

The Mailman decides to stop another deluge of letters by answering questions about the Easter Bunny: Sunny, a baby rabbit found and adopted by Kidville (a town of only kids--even a kid mailman).
